Right now, you can't. That's because the Marble Institute of America (MIA) wants to make sure that the Home Approved Stone program is flawless, so that consumers will have total confidence about the safety of granite countertops when they go to buy them.

To that end, the MIA is now distributing the Home Approved Stone testing protocols to granite countertop manufacturers, distributors and fabricators across the nation. Details of the program's implementation are still being finalized with scientific consultants and will be in place before any product is marked with a Home Approved Stone logo.
